In applications where severe corrosion or heat is a problem, uniISO cast chains offer an alternative to welded and fabricated steel chains. They consist of cast offset links combined with steel pins or rivets. Cast chains may be better suited for applications involving severely corrosive environments or where chain temperatures reach 500 degrees Fahrenheit or more. Cast combination chains provide excellent service when heavy downward loading and sliding over extremely hard or abrasive surfaces cause chain wear problems. In addition, chain breakage can be problematic due to heavy impact loading.
