Pinned chain

A pin chain consists of a barrel and linkage as a single casting. Each casting is then connected to the next with a steel pin to form a chain. The castings and linkages provide greater strength than other chains, allowing for a wider range of applications.

Steel pin chain gets its unique name from its design. A pin is a pin or bolt that is usually inserted into a sleeve-like cylindrical fitting called a pad. Applying this type of connection allows the link to rotate or hinge to a second, similar component that forms a strong and flexible chain for conveying heavy loads.

Pin chains have several advantages that allow them to be used in a variety of situations involving heavy workloads and environments with corrosion-resistant materials.
