Differential case

The differential case is one of the important parts in the automobile transmission system. It is located inside the transmission case and plays the role of protecting and supporting the differential. Differential case is made of high-strength cast iron or steel, with good wear resistance and pressure resistance.

The main function of the differential case is to transfer the power output from the engine to the wheels, and at the same time, it can realize the differential speed adjustment between the wheels according to the change of road surface condition and vehicle speed. It distributes the power to the left and right drive shafts through the gear transmission in the differential, so that the vehicle can realize steering and smooth driving.

The differential case also serves to protect the internal parts of the differential. It prevents dust, moisture and impurities from entering the differential, thus maintaining the normal operation of the differential. At the same time, the differential case can also reduce the temperature of the internal parts of the differential to improve its service life.
